This collection has several older wood tennis rackets, PLEASE read all details to choose the correct racket you'd like.
Arthur B Bentley.
RARE Older Arthur B Bentley racket called "Court Tudor?" One side has only part of the racket name, with a shadow of a tennis player. The other side has a round logo with gold accents on the top and bottom of the circle. The wording is "Bentley-Wilson Inc. Master Made By Arthur B Bentley. Camden New York." If your from NY and love tennis, this is the rare racket for you! Racket is mostly aged light natural wood. Accents of gold, red, white and black. Older aged brown grip with a leather collar. Cap is on. Condition is aged with some graphics scuffed. The side with the racket name and missing tennis player has very little graphics.
Invitational.
Older Trio racket called "Invitational." Background has several shades of natural wood. Accents of ivory. This is a split throat racket with it's open triangle designed upper handle. Grip is black with gold. Cap is on. Condition is aged with scuffs. The Olympic type rings on the lower head are very scuffed. The name of the racket isn't clear. The Trio name above the grip barely readable.
Bocock Stroud BROKEN.
RARE Older racket called "Meteor." One side has the racket name with a foil sticker. On the other side the Bocock Stroud Co Sporting Good Winston Salem, NC", foil label. This racket is a piece of North Carolina history, sold at the Bocock Stroud department store. Racket is mostly aged light natural wood. Accents of gold, red, white and black. Older wood grip with a leather collar. Strings look like cat guts? Condition is aged with brittle broken strings, they will continue to break off. Most of the foil labels look good, minor scuffs.
Hi Point.
Davis TAD racket called "Hi Point." Classic racket with several shades of natural wood, the lower head has a darker brown. Retro triangle on the upper handle with a "D". Dark brown grip. Cap is on. Condition is aged good, some scuffs. On the handle is faded original wording, I can't make out the wording, see our close up photo of the handle.
Bancroft Autograph.
Bancroft racket called "Autograph." Background is a light ivory with light natural wood. Accents of black and red. Grip is dark brown. Cap is on. Condition is aged good, some scuffs. The color bands on the lower head are a bit worn. Graphics are good. Racket has a aged patina.
Donnay Wimbledon. MINT.
RARE Donnay tennis racket called "Wimbledon". Mostly shades of light and dark natural wood hues. Accents of white, gold, red and blue. This is the only rackets we've had with the wood a bit raised and peaked above the grip. LOVE the unique design with a gold crown with a red white "D" initial. A amazing racket. The side has the wording "Fiberglass give this racket better stroke control, super speed and lasting resilience." Glossy finish! Darkened brown grip with gold. Cap is on. Condition is vintage mint. The top head play area has play scuffs. Very minor imperfections. The grip has darkened play patina. The handle and head look great. A beauty looking racket!
Spalding Natural. MINT.
Spalding racket called "Natural." Mostly different shaded of natural wood. Accent of ivory. Made of out Ash and Mahogany. Grip is darker brown with "Spalding" on it. Cap is on. Condition is vintage aged mint. The grip has some darkening. The top head play area has minor scuffs.
B Gottfried, MINT.
RARE Snauwaert racket for tennis pro Brian Gottfried. Dramatic dark brown with accents of gold. This racket looks like it has never seen a tennis court? Glossy Finish! Grip is dark brown. Cap is on. Condition is vintage mint. One side has a light line on the upper handle, looks like it was made that way. Small line gouge above the grip. Minor surface perfections.
These rackets are sold for display pieces in your home. If you decide to use to play tennis, I'm unsure of all the rackets performance.
